Em Koch is a New Orleans–based artist whose practice spans painting, drawing, collage, and found-object installation. Her work explores the layered histories of place, drawing from psychogeography and archival research. Koch has shown in both solo and group exhibitions in New York and beyond, including Art Cake, the Pleiades Gallery, the Bitforms Gallery, among others. She holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York and a BA from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA.
