How Gamvt collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Gamvt LLC ("Gamvt," "we," "us") handles personal information when people visit gamvt.com, create accounts, apply or onboard as artists, list or purchase artwork, communicate through the marketplace, or contact us.

2. Information You Provide

We may collect your name, email, phone number, account credentials, profile and biography, artwork images and listing details, messages, support requests, legal-agreement acceptances, order information, shipping address, refund and claim information, and other information you choose to provide. Artists may provide country, legal-entity type, tax or business details, and bank-related information through Stripe-hosted onboarding.

3. Payment and Identity Information

Stripe processes payment cards, connected-account onboarding, identity verification, bank details, refunds, disputes, and payouts. Gamvt generally receives transaction identifiers, status, limited account and verification information, fees, balances, and payout information. Gamvt does not receive or store full payment-card numbers or full bank credentials. Stripe handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.

4. Information Collected Automatically

We may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, cookie or session identifiers, and security or diagnostic logs. We may collect user agent and IP address when you accept legal documents to preserve evidence of acceptance and prevent fraud.

5. Sources of Information

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from other marketplace users as part of transactions or claims, and from service providers such as Stripe, authentication, hosting, security, email, analytics, and shipping providers.

6. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts; review artist applications; publish profiles and listings; process orders, application fees, refunds, disputes, and payouts; connect buyers and artists; fulfill shipping and support requests; verify eligibility; prevent fraud and misuse; enforce agreements; comply with law and payment-provider requirements; maintain financial and tax records; diagnose and improve the Service; and send service communications. Promotional messages, if used, are sent only as permitted and include an unsubscribe method.

7. How We Share Information

We may share information with: (a) buyers and artists as reasonably necessary for a transaction; (b) Stripe and vendors providing hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, customer support, security, fraud prevention, and similar services; (c) carriers and insurers for shipment and claims; (d) professional advisers; (e) authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary for law, safety, fraud prevention, or legal process; and (f) a buyer, investor, lender, or successor in a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

8. Public Marketplace Information

Artist names, biographies, profile images, artwork images, listing descriptions, and other content intended for publication are public. Buyers and artists receive information reasonably necessary to fulfill and support an order. Do not submit information for public areas that you do not want publicly displayed.

9. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

At launch, Gamvt does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or use it for targeted advertising based on activity across unrelated services. If these practices change, we will update this Policy and provide legally required notices and choices before the change applies.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Essential cookies, local storage, and similar technologies may be required for authentication, security, checkout, preferences, and fraud prevention. Gamvt may use limited analytics or performance tools to understand and improve the Service. We will update this Policy or provide a cookie notice before adding materially different analytics, advertising, or tracking practices. Browser settings may block some technologies, but doing so may impair functionality.

11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because Gamvt does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising at launch, browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals do not change essential account, security, or transaction processing. Where applicable law requires action on a recognized opt-out signal, Gamvt will honor it.

12. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain transaction, tax, and legal-acceptance records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, comply with law and Stripe requirements, and support legitimate business operations. Retention periods vary by data type. We may retain limited records after account deletion when required or reasonably necessary for those purposes.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the size of the business. No system is completely secure. Protect your password, use secure devices, and notify admin@gamvt.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not send full card numbers, passwords, government identification, or Stripe verification records through ordinary email.

14. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

You may update certain account information through Gamvt and unsubscribe from promotional email using the message link. You may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information by emailing admin@gamvt.com. Where applicable, you may also object, opt out, or appeal a denied request. We may verify your identity, retain information when legally permitted or required, and explain if a request cannot be fulfilled. Gamvt may voluntarily respond to similar requests even when a particular state privacy law does not apply.

15. State-Specific Rights

Residents of certain states may have additional rights regarding access, correction, deletion, portability, sensitive data, targeted advertising, sale, profiling, nondiscrimination, and appeals. Gamvt does not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights. If Gamvt begins selling personal information or using it for targeted advertising, we will provide any required "Your Privacy Choices" mechanism.

16. Children

Gamvt is intended for adults and does not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to buy or sell through the marketplace. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact admin@gamvt.com if you believe a child provided personal information.

17. International Users

Gamvt is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate, subject to applicable law. International purchases are not supported at launch unless expressly stated.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, vendors, or law changes. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when legally required or when a change is material.
