1. Cancellation Before Shipment

A buyer may request cancellation before the artwork is tendered to the carrier. A pre-shipment cancellation is a request, not an automatic right: it requires approval from Gamvt and the artist, and the order remains valid until it is approved. Gamvt will ordinarily approve a genuine pre-shipment cancellation, but approval may be declined where the artist has already incurred material fulfillment costs or taken material steps toward shipment, in which case Gamvt will work out an appropriate resolution. Where a pre-shipment cancellation is approved, the buyer receives a full refund to the original payment method, including the artwork price, the Gamvt Buyer Service Fee, any shipping charged, and any tax actually collected. Gamvt may also cancel an order independently where necessary for fraud, payment, legal, fulfillment, or marketplace-risk reasons. Cancellation is not guaranteed after the carrier has accepted the shipment or tracking shows movement.

2. Change-of-Mind Returns

Because each work is original or limited in nature, sales are final after shipment for change of mind, preference, buyer remorse, display-related color variation, or minor characteristics reasonably shown or described in the listing. A seller may voluntarily offer broader return rights in the listing, in which case those stated rights apply.

3. Problems Eligible for Review

A buyer may request a refund or other remedy when: (a) the artwork is not delivered; (b) it arrives materially damaged; (c) the wrong artwork is delivered; (d) it is materially different from the listing; or (e) there is a credible authenticity, ownership, infringement, or legal-title problem. Authenticity, ownership, material-misdescription, and legal-title problems may come to light after the ordinary condition-reporting window below and are reviewed on their own facts rather than being cut off solely by that short window.

4. Reporting Deadlines

Visible shipping damage, wrong-item delivery, and other readily identifiable condition issues should be reported within three calendar days after delivery is confirmed or recorded. Non-delivery should be reported promptly after the expected delivery date. Material misdescription, authenticity, ownership, and legal-title problems may not be immediately apparent and are reviewed on their own facts rather than cut off solely by the three-day window, as described in Section 3. A claim made after the applicable period may still be considered where required by law or where exceptional circumstances reasonably prevented timely reporting. These are operational deadlines designed to preserve evidence; they do not waive rights that applicable law does not allow Gamvt to limit. Reporting a qualifying problem before the seller's proceeds are released — including before the automatic release that occurs approximately fourteen calendar days after the artwork is marked shipped when the buyer has not confirmed receipt — allows Gamvt to place the payout on hold and review the issue before funds are released. Reporting a problem is a request for review that pauses the payout; it is not, by itself, a refund, and Gamvt does not automatically refund an order solely because a problem was reported. Release of the seller's proceeds does not, by itself, extinguish a buyer claim that remains timely under this Policy or applicable law.

5. Evidence and Preservation

Provide reasonably requested photographs or video of the artwork, packaging, shipping label, damage, and delivery location, along with relevant messages or carrier information. An unboxing video is encouraged for higher-value works but is not a mandatory condition for a legitimate claim. Preserve the artwork and all packaging while the claim is reviewed. Do not repair, alter, discard, resell, or return the artwork without instructions unless necessary to prevent further damage. For higher-value artwork in particular, do not return the piece without Gamvt's return instructions.

6. Review and Remedies

Gamvt administrators review the listing, messages, tracking, evidence, seller response, carrier information, payment status, and applicable law. Gamvt compares a damage claim against the seller's pre-shipment condition and packing evidence and may reject a claim where the evidence reasonably indicates buyer's remorse, an accurately disclosed condition, damage occurring after delivery, or a refusal to provide reasonable evidence. Depending on the circumstances, Gamvt may arrange a return, replacement if available, repair contribution, partial refund, full refund, or another agreed remedy. Approval is not automatic merely because a request is submitted. Where a remedy is approved, the buyer is not required to wait indefinitely for a seller or carrier insurance claim to conclude before receiving that approved remedy.

7. Return Shipping

For an approved claim caused by shipping damage, wrong-item delivery, material misdescription, authenticity or ownership problems, or seller breach, the seller or Gamvt will provide or reimburse reasonable return shipping as directed. For a voluntary return accepted outside this Policy, the buyer may be responsible for insured return shipping and related costs. Do not return artwork without instructions; unauthorized returns may not be eligible for reimbursement.

8. Refund Amount

A full refund for non-shipment, an approved pre-shipment cancellation, or an approved seller-fault claim generally returns all amounts paid for the affected order: the artwork price, the Gamvt Buyer Service Fee, standard shipping paid for the affected item, and any tax actually collected on the order. Expedited or optional services may be excluded unless the problem was caused by the seller or Gamvt.

Partial refunds are based on the agreed or determined remedy. A partial refund reflects the portion of the order being refunded and returns a proportional share of the applicable tax and of the Gamvt Buyer Service Fee corresponding to that portion.

9. Refund Timing and Mechanics

Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method as promptly as reasonably possible. Stripe and the buyer's financial institution control final posting time. A refund may show as pending while Stripe processes it. Refunds are administered on the payment account through which the order was processed: for an order processed through the seller's connected account, the refund and any commission refund are handled through that account; for an order processed through a Gamvt payment account, Gamvt issues the refund from that account and, where the seller's share was already transferred, may reverse the transfer or otherwise recover the corresponding amount. Stripe does not return its processing fee when a transaction is refunded.

10. Seller Proceeds During a Claim

Gamvt may pause release of the seller's proceeds while a cancellation, damage, non-delivery, authenticity, refund, fraud, buyer-reported problem, or payment dispute is pending. If the proceeds have already been released, the seller and Stripe remain responsible for refund and dispute handling under the Artist / Seller Agreement and Stripe terms, and Gamvt may recover seller-responsible amounts by reversal, offset, or other lawful means where permitted.

11. Chargebacks and Duplicate Recovery

Contact admin@gamvt.com before filing a payment dispute so Gamvt can try to resolve the issue. This request does not waive any lawful right to dispute a charge. Knowingly false claims, duplicate recovery, failure to return an artwork after receiving a return-conditioned refund, or other abuse may result in account restriction and recovery of improperly obtained amounts.

12. How to Request Help

Email admin@gamvt.com or use the order-support tool. Include the order number, a concise description, and the requested evidence. Do not include full card numbers, passwords, government identification, or Stripe verification documents in ordinary messages.
